We know there may seem like a lot here, but it really isn't. Everything here is to keep the site functioning properly. Please make sure you read through all the rules thoroughly and when you sign up with us you are agreeing to all the rules.
The simple stuff -

01. This site needs to be an active site. We know that you can't get on every day and sometimes muse is running on empty. We prefer at least one post every few days, even if it is just on the Games Board. But there is no set rule, just be sure to let us know if you will be away for awhile, so your accounts don't get deleted.
02. You can have a max of 3 characters, as long as you can keep up. It is understandable if you use one character more than another. Just don't create characters you don't plan on ever using. Try to play a variety of different characters.
03. You can use RP samples for your application from other games you are on, nothing wrong with saving time.
04. Respect all of the members, staff or not.
05. No asking staff if you can become a staff member. If you would like to be part of the staff, post a request in the Staff application area which can be found on Admin board. You may not be accepted at the time, but there maybe a time when more Admins are needed and the requests already there will be used first.
06. NO SPAMMING! Don't join a thread just to say, "Hey, come join our thread!"
07. Don't bug a person saying, "WHY HAVEN'"T YOU POSTED ON OUR THREAD! POST!" People do have lives and they will get back to you asap, if you want to send a polite, message then do so. But don't send loads.
08. Don't start threads you don`t intend on finishing. Ask other members to plot and post with you.
09. If you wish to create your home in the 'Homes' thread that is fine however, you need to keep the RP going and it is up to you to control and report and issues that come along with it.
10. Character Tracking is you for your character alone. Inside the board you have a thread which has all your details for your character in. It is up to you to keep everything about your character updates here. Like relationship statuses or any problems your character may be facing.
11. 'The Perfect Life' runs to 0 GMT. This is the only time zone it works to, this will help with working out times to get on with other members.

In character rules -
01. NO GODMODING, please & thanks and no Mary Sue-ing either. Don't know what these are? Look it up.
02. This site rating Is PG-13. Cursing is allowed, but not excessively please. And don't write explicit sex scenes. If you want to write something more than a little kissing between two characters, that is fine, just keep it reasonable or fade to black. Adult content is strictly prohibited by Proboards.
03. PLEASE write something worth reading in your posts. Not just one liners. Minimum word count for a post is 200 words, because anything less is more than likely to be pointless.
04. One character per account. No exceptions, it is not that hard to keep track of more than one character. A good rule of thumb is to use the same PW for every character and usernames should be the character's first or last name.
05. No chat speak. The only exception to this is in the Shoutbox and Emails. This is not allowed in the Role Play threads and should be avoided in the OOC. We will except a little, but stupid amounts will result in a warning.
06. Please use proper spelling and grammar. Please capitalize the first letter of the first word in your sentences and all names. We know mistakes happen, but if it becomes habit, we will talk to you about it.
07. Posts should always be in third person and past tense.
08. Please be careful with font size as well. Make sure it is large enough so people aren't squinting. The best way to avoid this is to just use the default size.
Signatures and avatars/photos -
01. It is preferred if you have both. If you really can't find a signature, there are people here who will make one for you.
02. No huge signatures. You may have one big one that isn't any bigger then 500x250, two images that are around 250x250, or up to five icons. Text is okay in your signatures but don't put to much.
03. Avatars should not be bigger than 150x150.
04. Absolutely no nudity when using pictures.
Shoutbox -
01. Don't spam the Shoutbox. Spam is small pointless annoying messages. Conversations are welcomed. That's what it's for. But absolutely no SPAM.
02. Also, no advertising. It's okay to have your site linked to your name, but don't draw attention to it. And no flat-out advertising, like saying "Hey people come to my site!" or anything related to that.

03. Please, DO NOT PLOT on the Shoutbox. That's what PMs and instant messengers are for. It's alright to let someone know you have posted on their thread, but don't plot a whole scenario on the Shoutbox.
04. Lastly, no OOC cursing or fighting. We don't want to see it. If you have a problem with another member or even Admin contact an Admin. You will be given a warning, if it continues, suspension will be taken into consideration.
